THE BISHOP & FOUNDER'S BIOGRAPHY

Bishop Joseph Nathaniel Williams was touched by God’s indelible fingerprint. He was a man of distinction, wisdom, integrity and empowerment with exemplary form. In every era, in every generation, God will raise up a distinct and authentic voice of kingdom impact and influence, Bishop Williams was that man.

From humble beginnings in Brooklyn, New York, where he was born the fourth son of his father and mother, the late Bishop John C. Williams and the late Dr. Kathryn J. Williams, it was evident that this Spirit-filled vessel had a divine calling from God to preach to all nations.

Bishop Williams was ordained in 1975, faithfully serving as Assistant Pastor and Minister of Music, under the divine tutelage of the late Bishop Ronald H. Carter. He was later released as Founder and Senior Pastor of Apostolic Faith Assembly, now known as Christ Church International, Inc. in Jamaica, New York. In 1995, Bishop Joseph Nathaniel Williams was consecrated to the episcopacy.

Bishop Joseph Nathaniel Williams was a predominant apostolic voice and an apostolic father that administered the infallible word of God. Under the anointing and direction of God, Bishop Williams focused on “bridging the gap” and “repairing the breach” in a cutting edge and progressive 21st century generation. He was a much sought-after conference speaker and proclaimed author. He was passionate about mentoring young men and women–charging all he encountered to "Dialogue with your Destiny" with exuberance and passion!

The ministry of Bishop Williams was internationally recognized and continues to impact and reach global proportions. Bishop Williams carried a powerful and passionate message of innovation, life and hope of Christ's saving power, in demonstration, prophetic insight and accuracy, as he traveled the length and breadth of the world, including Europe, Africa, Israel, Canada and the Caribbean.

Dr. Joseph Nathaniel Williams has authored books on practical theology that challenges, motivates, inspires and more importantly, equips readers to live the life God has predestined for them. His three books are: “The God We Worship,” “A Conversation with Wisdom - A Father's Heart” with accompanying workbook, and his last publication “Wheat, Wine & Oil” are all extensions of his teaching ministry as he shared his wisdom on paradigm shifts and spiritual matters.
